Eliza Modiste lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband, daughter, and an abundance of animals. Accountant by day and writer by night, she lives to mesh her characters together in ways that make her audience say things ranging from, “That’s hilarious,” to, “Kiss, dammit,” or, “Oh, God, don’t die.” What thrills Eliza most within her writing is all things spicy, laugh-out-loud banter, gasp-worthy suspense, and plot twists that could end in death and destruction.

When not writing, Eliza can be found baking, binging a television series, playing video games, or spending time with friends and family.
